Play-Based Learning

In this section we will be adding play ideas that you can try out at home. In school we spend at least one hour every day dedicated to play-based learning. During these sessions the children have access to a wide range of practical activities designed to encourage and develop all areas of learning.
You don't need any specialist equipment. At school the children make fabulous models and constructions using mainly recycled items you have at home. A sand tray or old washing up bowl can quickly transform into a garden! Old boxes can turn into cars, lorries and other wonderful vehicles.
