Music and Drama

Cold Lands Drama - we listened to a story about a Polar Explorer read to us by Mrs Wethers. We had to take on the role of Tom, who was going to the Arctic to rescue his dad. We used mime and facial expression to act out the story. We had lots of fun doing this!

Over the past 5 weeks we have been working through a Music and Drama series called Peter and the Wolf. We listen to the story as it is read and identify the different instruments used to play the characters. We also act out parts of the story using mime and facial expression. We are learning about how music can be used to portray a story and about how the music changes in different situations e.g. when the wolf comes it gets louder and faster.
