Bug hotel

Back in 2017-2018 Eco committee built an amazing bug hotel. It was a luxury home to many mini beasts, however winter storms led to it falling into a little disrepair and less creepy crawly visitors. We fixed it up to encourage bugs back as they are vital to our garden’s health.

 

We filled the  bug hotel with moss, bark, bricks, broken pots, bamboo and stick stacks. The bugs love this dark, damp environment.
