Big School Birdwatch

On Tuesday 26th January, our 83 P7 pupils took part in the RSPB Big School Birdwatch. The weather was not the fairest however we managed to spot many different species of garden birds including; rooks, blackbirds, robins, wood pigeon and a pied wagtail. The finch family were very difficult to find during the Birdwatch but just when we were about to give up the search, two members of our class spotted a great tit! We all enjoyed the morning (despite the wind and rain!) and we want to express our thanks to Karen from the RSPB for coming out to educate us and assist in the Birdwatch event. laugh
