Water Tower Challenge!
We were set a challenge in class to plan, design and build a tower to hold water! We had to work in group to choose the equipment and materials we needed and to plan our design. Then we had to build our water tower. It had to stand between 15cm and 20cm tall and we had a choice of the following materials to use: spaghetti, art straws, cocktail sticks, blu tac, sellotpae, marshmallows.
We worked well together and had some very interesting designs!
Some of our towers held the cup of water, they were very strong! However some of them fell down when the water cup was placed on top of them!
At the end we discussed the best designs and best choice of materials to use to build the water tower!
