Water Play
Water Play is a great way for children to explore the worlds of Science and Maths that is both fun and inspirational.
Week Beginning 15th June
This week we are going to test boats to see if they float!
- Use different materials to make 3 boats. (See the Construction Play folder for ideas.)
- Test your boat designs in a washing-up bowl or sink.
- Record your designs and your results on the sheet below.
- Find out which materials work best.
Week Beginning 1st June
In this lovely hot weather, many of you might have a paddling pool outside. A washing up bowl or bucket would work just as well for this fun design activity.
NB If using marbles, keep them out of reach of younger brothers or sisters!
- Design and build a water run!
