This week we are getting creative with paper.

Try one of the collage themes below using recycled paper from newspapers, magazines or catalogues.

Week Beginning 15th June

This week we are going to design our own hot air balloon!

• Have a look at the photos below.
• Draw your own design, either using one of the templates or drawing on a plain piece of paper.
• Try to use very bright colours to colour in your design.
• Remember you can use a different balloon shape to fit your design. 
• If you like, send your finished designs to us on 'Seesaw'. If you would like to display your design in our Class Photo Gallery, please ask your mum or dad to email a photo of your work to Mr. Dickson.

Week Beginning 8th June

Long ago, before there were telephones or radios, ships used flags to send messages to each other. There is a special flag for each letter of the alphabet. These flags are still used today on ships all over the world.

• Design your own ship's flag.
• Use the nautical alphabet to write a message. 

Week Beginning 25th May

This week we getting our inspiration from wheels.

Look at the pictures below, then have a go at making a picture, collage or model. 

Some ideas

• Look at the patterns in wheels and draw what you see. 
• Make a collage of wheel shapes using pictures cut from magazines or catalogues.
• Print wheel shapes using round lids such as bottle tops or jar lids.; print spokes with edges of card.
• Make pictures of things with wheels.
• Design your dream car!
