Safer Internet Day
Today we were working on activities around the topic of “All fun and games”...being safe while playing online games.
We discussed how gaming online can be great fun but we need to stay safe by only playing games we are allowed, knowing who we are playing with and against, never giving away any personal details and setting a time limit for playing.
We did some group work on how to deal with different scenarios that might cause us concern...and we thought of great solutions that we then discussed as a class.
Then we imagined we worked for a gaming company and we designed a guide with a character and rules to use with children playing online. We discussed everyone’s ideas.
