Rory’s Miles to Mayo
We are supporting Rory’s miles to Mayo fundraising event by sticking 1p and 2p coins on the number 180. We hope this will add to the total raised by our school. Check out this page to see our progress over the next few weeks. 😀🏃🏻♂️🏃🏼♀️
As a school we did our sponsored walk round the Mall on Tuesday 14 September to help raise some money for the new Children’s Cancer Centre in Mayo.
Here we are staring out on the first of our two laps of the Mall...
We stopped for a short break after one lap 😆
We stopped and looked at the names and poppies on the War Memorial.
We also spotted a lovely tree showing the colours of autumn already.
Before we finished our walk we stopped and looked at the statue to the people who lost their lives in the Armagh Railway Disaster.
We had a great morning out in the lovely sunshine and we all enjoyed ourselves! 😀🚶🏼♀️🚶♂️🍁
On Tuesday 19 October we had a special assembly to hand over the cheque for all the money we had raised to the Cancer Fund for Children. Our class had added £5 to the total by covering the numbers 180 in 1ps and 2ps...well done P5 👏
