Outdoor Learning - Numeracy
As part of our outdoor learning we carried out a maths investigation all about measuring length. We had to investigate whether or not the Prime Minister would be able to land his helicopter in our school playground! There had to be a space of 25m by 19m for the helicopter to land. So we decided that the best measuring equipment would be the trundle wheel, and out we went with these to work in groups and investigate whether we had enough room for him to land! We really enjoyed this task 😃
