Numeracy Activities

We are learning about Division! We used smarties to share numbers into groups. We then talked about what happens when you have more in one group than in others.... it isn't fair to have more in one group as the groups must contain the same number, so the extra left over become the 'remainder'. We also used our times tables facts to help solve division sums! We are looking forward to learning more about Division over the next few weeks!

We are learning about Division with Remainders!

As part of our Data Handling work in Numeracy we looked at Carroll Diagrams. We investigated how to sort information into the various parts of the Carroll Diagram based on the given criteria. We had lots of fun writing our names into the different Carroll Diagrams on the board!
