In S1, we are starting using the online learning platform called Seesaw.  Please follow the instructions below to get involved. 

Follow the Seesaw web link (in the Mrs Rollston star above) and select your child.  Then create a free account.  This will allow us to approve you access to Seesaw. 

Once approved, you will be able to 'Log In' using the same link (above) and selecting your child's name again, this time picking the 'Log In' option.  If using apps you can Log In straight away on the app. (See below)

SEESAW APPS

There are 2 free apps which you can download, so you can easily see and upload photographs of schoolwork your child is doing at home, without using a PC/laptop.  'Seesaw Family' and 'Seesaw Class'.

The 'Seesaw Family' app allows you to see all of your child's work and the 'Seesaw Class' allows your child to upload work and see class announcements. 

When you open 'Seesaw Family' - tap 'Family Sign In' and use the email and password you created on the account.  You can now view your child's journal.  This is the app you use to view all future work and teacher comments.

When you open 'Seesaw Class' - tap 'I'm a Student' and use the QR code (in the Mrs Rollston star above) to sign in.  (Please note the email sign in option isn't available). This is the app you use to upload the work and view class announcements. 

Thank you for your help with this - We would now like you to upload some examples of your child's learning using Seesaw Class, so we can see what everyone is doing! 

Another point to to note is that all work activities will still be posted on the website weekly on the class page. You will now see a Literacy, Numeracy and World Around Us folder. Work will be uploaded into these folders each week.

Please be assured that I am the only one who can see everyone's work in the class.

STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

Please note that when you scan the QR code to access ‘Seesaw Class’ you will be unable to view your child’s journal here as this app will only be used for your child to upload their work and for us to make any announcements via the inbox, announcements will not be made on ‘Seesaw Family’.

So please keep an eye on the Seesaw Class inbox (see screenshot below).
