Hello everyone!

In Key stage 1, we would like to start using the online platform called SeeSaw. Please read all of the information that follows.

If you could click on your child’s teachers name at the bottom of this post and follow the Seesaw web link and select your child.  Then create a free account.  This will allow me to approve you access to the online learning platform we currently use in school, called Seesaw.  

Once approved, you will get an email and then be able to 'Log In' using the same link (below) and selecting your child's name again, this time picking the 'Log In' option.  

SEESAW APPS

There are now 2 free apps which you will need to download, so you can both see and upload photographs of schoolwork your child is doing at home.  'Seesaw Family' and 'Seesaw Class'.

The 'Seesaw Family' app allows you to see all of your child's work and the 'Seesaw class' allows your child to upload work and see class announcements. 

When you open 'Seesaw Family' - tap 'Family Sign In' and use the email and password you created on the account.  You can now view your child's journal. This is the app you use to view all future work and teacher comments.

When you open 'Seesaw Class' - tap 'I'm a Student' and use the QR code below to sign in.  (Please note the email sign in option isn't available). Your child will be familiar with this app and will be able to upload their work. This is the app you use to upload the work and view class announcements. 

Thank you for your help with this - We would love you to upload some examples of your child's learning using Seesaw Class, so we can see what everyone is doing!

Please be assured that we are the only ones who can see everyone's work in our own class.

Please note that when you scan the QR code to access ‘SeeSaw  Class’ you with be unable to view your child’s journal as this app will mainly be used for your child to upload their work and for teacher to make any announcements made by the teacher as these will not be made on ‘SeeSaw Family’. So please keep an eye on the inbox (see screenshot below). Your child’s full journal of work they have posted can be viewed using the ‘SeeSaw Family’ app along with any comments the teacher has made about your child’s work. Therefore it is  really important that you download both the apps and follow the instructions above so that you and your child get all the benefits.

Another point to note that all work/activities will still be posted weekly via the school website on the class page as it has been in recent weeks.
