How to use Google Classroom

Below is a guide on how to use Google Classroom at home. Please watch the videos provided and follow the steps in them. Once you use it for a few days you will all be experts!

Parents: If at any point you are stuck and can't find the answers in the videos try referring to the Google Help Website: https://support.google.com/?hl=en

*Please note:

i) As teachers this is a new resource for us, so please be patient as we get to grips with it.

ii) We will try our best to mark work each day and comment. Please remember however that staff are still supervising Key Workers' children as well as looking after and supporting their own families, so please be patient while waiting for responses.

iii) For any login issues with username or passwords please email Mrs Murray: smurray574@c2ken.net

iv) Children are reminded to communicate appropriately while online.

v) Google Classrooms is a place for interaction between pupils and teachers only. It is not a platform for parents to contact staff. If there is an issue staff can be reached via email.

We encourage all comments and queries to come from the pupils. Using the 'private comment' section if it is just for the teacher. Or questions could also be asked to the whole class using the 'class comment' section.

If there is an issue that needs attention outside of this parents can contact staff via their email address below. Please only email between the hours of 09:00 - 15:00
