Google Classroom

In P5 we will be using Google Classroom both in school and at home during the school year. Important information, class reminders and school documents will be posted in the stream section of Google Classroom. Linguistic Phonics homework will be assigned in the classwork section of Google Classroom (to be completed in the book, photographed and uploaded at home).

It will take a little time to get used to this different learning platform, don't worry! We will talk through how to access Google Classroom, how to find assignments/homework tasks and how to photograph and upload work in school with the children. Please use the guidance below to help access Google Classroom at home via a computer/laptop or mobile tablet/device.

Guidance:

-Login to MySchool: https://www.c2kschools.net/

(Remember for MySchool it is just your username and then your password. NOT the full email address)

-Click on 'My Links' and then the Google Classroom Logo.

If asked fill in your email address and password (full email address is username with @c2ken.net at the end eg jsmith222@c2ken.net

You will find your username in your homework diary.

-p5H/H should appear for you to enter.

-You can download the Google Classroom app on a mobile device/tablet. To access P5H/H Google Classroom enter the email address and password as above and follow the steps.
Troubleshooting

-If Google Classroom does not appear please check the circle with the initial in the top right corner. Sometimes it may defer back to the primary account (a parent). If you click on the circle initial you should have an option to select or sign in again to the child's @c2ken.net/ Google Classroom account.

-Make sure you are signed in using your school @c2ken.net email address. Others will not work.
