Forest School
In Forest School we were learning about how the earth, and nature helps us. We talked about the trees giving us shade and air to breathe and paper and wood. We decided to make some tree belts to celebrate how important trees are. We did a boys belt and a girls belt and the children found natural items to add to their belt. We also sang a song and had some quiet 'sit spot' time where the children were asked to sit quietly and look at nature or listen to it. Some closed their eyes to listen and others watched carefully. We talked about what he felt and what we liked.
