Exploring pumpkins
In A1 the children have beenobserving pumpkins and ordering them by size, colour and weight.
The children also helped scoop out the pulp and explore the inside of a pumpkin. Lots of sticky messy seeds!
We also used the pumpkin to freeze some creepy crawlies inside and explored how to melt the ice with warm water. This was another fun messy play investigation for the children. Lots of interest and exploration using spoons and pouring warm water to investigate.
