You could ask a parent to email MR Dickson your finished pieces for our school Twitter page and / or our P7 page- we love to see all your fab work 😍
P7, this is the final art challenge that we will be setting you.
We have thought of an extra special art task - something that will allow us to keep a little bit of you with us at The Armstrong.
We want as many of you as possible to paint a stone / clay pot / salt-dough tile or circle / shell art etc. for us to keep in our school garden. This way, we can not only brighten up our garden area, but also think back to our wonderful P7 class of 2019/20.
**You will need to put a coat or two of clear varnish or PVA glue to help preserve your design and keep it weather proof**
When you have your piece of art completed, please ask a parent to accompany you to school where you can leave it under the canopy at the main entrance.
You can leave your piece of art under the canopy from 9am - 3pm any day from Monday 15th June until Friday 26th June.
We can't wait to see what you all come up with.
Below are some ideas to get you thinking...
Try some ideas from this amazing artist who shared her videos on YouTube.
We love the plastic cup idea and the toothbrush silhouette artwork.
What will you try?

Your art challenge this week is to draw / sketch/ paint a famous London Landmark.
Why not upload your finished piece into Google Classroom to share with our class? Alternatively, you can email your picture to your teacher or send it to Mr Dickson for Twitter.
The weather this week is supposed to be beautiful! To make the most of the outdoors, we want you to try to create a 'picture' or 'scene' using flowers (but don't pick protected flowers such as bluebells), twigs, grasses etc. that you find outside your house.
**Remember to keep safe and wash your hands once you have finished your artwork.**
Here are a few examples to inspire you...
Challenge 6:
Why not try some stone / rock art? Have a look at some of the ideas below...
Challenge 5:
Find a window in your house where you can sit comfortably.
Draw what you see. 😀
You could focus on one part of a scene, such as a lamp post, a tree or a neighbour’s door. 🌲 🚪
Draw someone important to you 🥰
Challenge 3:
Draw a sketch of Titanic. 🚢
Decide whether to draw it in the dock before setting sail; at sea before the disaster; or as the ship was sinking.
You could try to add shading to enhance your drawing.
Remember to email Mr Dickson your finished piece for Twitter. We love to see your wonderful artwork 😀
Challenge 2:
Make something rainbow-ish! It could be an animal, a sky, a new plant, a fairground ride, a vegetable... Let your imagination soar! 🌈
Challenge 1:
Design a ticket for a concert of your favourite band / musician / festival!
