On Friday 15th October we went on our Apple Day Trip to the Palace Stables! We got to experience four different activities, and we really enjoyed each one! We learnt about how apple juice is made and what happens to apples throughout the year, from growing on the trees, to being picked and then to being turned into juice! We got the chance to make some apple juice, just the way they did it in the olden days! We also got to make some potato apple bread and cook it on the griddle! Finally, we made mini apple information books! We had so much fun and this trip was a great way for us to recap on the interesting work we completed on our Apples WAU topic in September! Many thanks to everyone at the Palace Stables involved in our trip... thank you for making it so enjoyable!
