Apple Day at The Palace Stables
On Friday 15 October we went to The Palace Stables for our annual Apple Day trip. This was a follow up to our topic in September. We had four activities...we met the cook and learnt how to make apple potato bread, and also how to say hello properly to each other!! We made a mini apple information booklet; we learnt all about the different seasons of an apple tree and the journey of an apple from tree to juice. Finally we learnt how to make apple juice in preparation for a harvest party! We also were shown some games that would have been played at the parties on the estate 😀
It was a great trip and all the class remembered their apple facts really well 👏⭐️
