We hope that you are enjoying our World War II topic and learning lots about what life was like during the war. We can perhaps appreciate a little at the minute with all of the restrictions that have been placed on us during this period of lockdown. Maybe we could think about what it was like during the blackout when everyone had to stay inside with their windows blacked out.... at least these days we have so much technology to help us keep in touch and to entertain us. During World War II, letters were the main form of communication and there definitely was no internet!!

Anyway, we know that you have been working hard with our World War II booklets and there is quite a lot contained within them so we thought that we would give you a week off from the booklet this week. However, continue to do lots of research on World War II. There is lots of information on the Discovery Education website (link below). The login details are on our main P4 page in the school closure summary pages and were given as part of your original workpack.

Also, we hope that you are enjoying Spywatch… it is normally a big hit in our classrooms at this time of year! This week, we would like you to watch two episodes and complete the activities.
