Our first water investigation...we planned and carried out an experiment to see the best material we could use to filter dirty water. We poured the same amount of dirty water through a sieve, filter paper, a paper towel and some tights. We watched to see which of the materials was the best at cleaning the dirty water.
Our second water investigation... we planned and carried out an investigation to see which substances dissolved in water and whether they dissolved quicker in cold water or warm after. We made our predictions to start, then we investigated! We found that salt, sugar and coffee dissolved but sand didn’t. We also found that the substances dissolved much quicker in the warmer water 👍🏼
