Palace Stables World War 2 Trip
We had a fantastic day at the Palace Stables on our World War II trip. We made our own evacuation labels and identity cards. We also learnt lots of facts about what life was like during World War II. We met Mr Heaney the evacuation officer and an American GI. We took on many roles from an air raid warden, trainee American soldiers and evacuees. It was great fun and we learnt lots about our topic. We rounded off the day with a trip to the park!
