We discovered how different substances dissolved faster in warm water. Sand did not dissolve🥹
Dissolving experiment………
We investigated how different substances dissolve in cold and warm water.
We made it a fair test by using the same amount of substance and the same amount of water.
Sand did not dissolve. Coffee, salt and sugar dissolved quickest in warm water.
We timed how quickly it dissolved with an IPad.
Filtering dirty water…………
Children in different countries don’t always have clean water.
Our experiment tested what was best for cleaning muddy water.
Tissue paper was best for filtering muddy water.
The sieve hardly cleaned the muddy water.
Water Tower Challenge…………
Task- In a group build a tower that holds 10ml of water 10-15cm off the desk.

We added a light at the top of our lighthouses using wires, bulb holders, bulbs, wires and batteries.
We used electricity from batteries to light bulbs on top of our lighthouses.
