P1MJ went to the Observatory Forest today and we looked at different plants and flowers along the route. Some the children could name and others were new to them. We talked about which may hurt us and which are saft to touch.
After an impromptu photo shoot we did our 'Numicon' number challenge. Children worked in pairs to find a set of natural objects to match their Numicon shape number and set the objects into the same shape formation as the Numicon piece. This was a fun challenge that tested their ability to work with others and to problem solve.
