Exploring and eating oranges

We used our senses to explore and describe oranges today. The children had to peel the orange thenselves, look carefully at it, smell it, touch it and taste it. We counted how many segements each person had and then we tasted them. 

Afterwards we made a long list of words to describe the oranges and wrotye them on the board. Sixteen of the class liked the taste and two children didn't like the taste of the orange.
