Apple Science and Baked Apples activities!

We are learning about Apples. We love to carry out science experiments, so we set up an investigation to see which liquid is the best at stopping apples from turning brown when they are cut up and left in the air. We also looked at some Bramley apples. We talked about how these apples are raw, but when you put them in the oven to bake them, they become cooked, soft and edible. We made Baked apples together in class. We cored the apples and filled them with raisins, honey and brown sugar. Then we covered them in greaseproof paper and baked them in the oven. We got to enjoy them with some custard!
