September Numeracy and Literacy

We are learning about Place Value in Numeracy. We have been thinking about the value of a digit, up to a 4 digit number, we have been ordering and comparing numbers to find the greater or smaller number, and we have been looking at adding and subtracting 1, 10, 100 while bridging the tens! We also like to play some mental maths games too!

This month in Literacy we are learning about Grammar. We are working on nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs. Here are some photos of us noting our ideas for nouns, verbs and adjectives with our partners! We are also working on our Linguistic Phonics skills and our ability to order words alphabetically using the second or third letters. Here are some photos of this too!
