Experiment 1 - Making a water timer using a coke bottle.
Experiment 2 - Making a rainbow
For our second Experiment we made rainbows using marker pens and kitchen paper. The children had to see if the ink would spread in more than or less than 1 minute. The children watched the demonstration and then carried out their own test during play.
Experiment 3 - How long does it take for the Volcano to blow?
We mixed baking soda and vinegar to make a fizzing Volcano. The children were amazed by the reaction and how quickly the fizzing action came up the volcano wall.
