School Buddies
At the Armstrong we want to encourage and build up relationships throughout the school. We operate a very successful buddy system at break times and lunchtimes. Our P7 pupils organise games in the playground for the younger pupils. They teach the younger pupils a range of games and encourage them to take part. These include football, draughts, skipping etc. This has proved very worthwhile and ensures we have happy playgrounds with children actively engaged in play. It also improves pupils’ communication skills as they are involved in organising, explaining rules etc.
