Farming Topic
In P1MJ the children have been learning about Farms and Farming. In play children have used lego to build farm sheds, barns and stables to house the animals. In the role play area the children wrote shopping listd for the farm shop. They used coins to pay for items. In Art we have been doing observational drawings of various farm animals. Some children painted a farm animal and some did a paint printing picture using stamps. In the playdough the children made tracks using different farm animals and children alsp played with the farm set, setting out the fences, sorting the animals and putting them into the sheds and out houses.
