Weight and Capacity Topics

We are learning about Capacity. We are using the terms 'holds more' and 'holds less' to compare the capacity of different containers and ordering them from least to greatest capacity and vice versa. We are also using non-standard units to measure the capacity of different containers.

We are learning about Capacity. We can compare the capacity of containers using the terms 'holds more than', 'holds less than', 'full', 'empty', 'half full' or 'half empty'. We created Capacity posters on the iPad to show what we have been learning!

We have been learning about Weight in Numeracy. We can use words like heavier or lighter than to compare the weight of items. We used the balance pans and cubes to find the weight of items in our classroom!
